  • The Shop Where I Live platform is an e-commerce marketplace & lead generation platform that helps small businesses to easily sell online together.  The goal is to showcase Chambers’ businesses to our communities and beyond.  This is a partnership designed to help local small businesses sell online via a national platform and still have local community support.

  • Training resources/assistance for those impacted by COVID

    Eastern Iowa Community Colleges is working to connect with people who have lost their jobs, been laid off, or experienced a reduction in hours due to COVID19, and are interested in free training from Eastern Iowa Community Colleges (EICC). EICC has been awarded grant funding to cover the cost of tuition for students interested in their Truck Driving, Manufacturing Awareness, or Frontline Leadership programs. 
     
    If you know someone that was negatively impacted by the COVID 19 pandemic, no matter the industry they worked in, encourage contact them to learn more about pursuing training in these high demand areas.  More info can be found here:  FRI Innovation Fund Flyer and FRI Innovation Fund Application  Applicants need to include a statement about how COVID 19 impacted their work, training, life, etc.  Applicants can mail or email their application to Paula Arends at EICC (see contact info below).
