Timber Lake Playhouse is looking for area musicians to play in the pit for musical productions at the playhouse in Mount Carroll.  TLP produces seven full length musicals throughout the summer and fall as well as a Christmas show in December.  TLP regularly hires musicians who play the more traditional instruments – keys, guitar, bass, drums, trumpet, trombone, reeds, and strings – as well as specialty instruments such as banjo, steel guitar and mandolin.

Professional musicians or those with skills to sight read and perform a traditional Broadway book are invited to apply.  If you would like to be considered for TLP’s musician database, please send letter (or email) of interest, resume or listing outlining your experience, and link to any videos or your professional reel.

Other events at TLP - November 16 brings The Blooze Brothers Revue to TLP and the Rock n’ Roll Tribute from Elvis to The Beatles featuring The Neverly Brothers performs November 23.  Both concerts begin at 7:00.

TLP’s Christmas Kaleidoscope will open the Christmas Season with enchanting holiday performances on December 5 – 8 and 12 – 15.  Tickets for all Timber Lake events are available online at www.timberlakeplayhouse.org or by calling the Box Office at (815) 244-2035. Box Office hours are Tuesday through Friday from 10:00 – 3:00.
