MercyOne Unveils New Signage
MercyOne Clinton Medical Center received new signs on Dec. 13 to reflect the MercyOne name and brand. The MercyOne name was unveiled in February 2019, and since the announcement, Iowa’s largest health care system has been updating its footprint across the state.
“Over the past 20 years, MercyOne has grown significantly, expanding our network of locations, clinical capabilities, services and geographic reach,” said Bob Ritz, MercyOne chief executive officer. “This effort to unify under the MercyOne brand is a part of our journey to set the standard for personalized and radically convenient system of health services for our patients and communities.”
Formed in 1998, MercyOne has grown into the state’s largest provider of hospital and related health services, consisting of more than 43 medical centers and more than 230 clinics and other health facilities, all generating more than $3 billion in combined revenue and employing more than 20,000 people.
“While the name on the building has changed to reflect our focus on coming together as one system of care, we will continue to deliver compassionate care with the best outcomes for each and every patient we serve,” Ritz said. “The name MercyOne is a reflection of our past and the promise of our future.”
