The Felix Adler Children’s Discovery Center, "Clinton, Iowa's Children's Museum," is celebrating their 30th annual Felix Adler Day on Saturday, June 15. Come – rain or shine – from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. to join the Discovery Center’s celebration of their biggest event of the year. This festival is held in honor of Frank B. “Felix” Adler, who was a famous clown with Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Circus, from Clinton, Iowa, and the inspiration for the Felix Adler Children’s Discovery Center.

Felix Adler Day gives everyone free admission to the Discovery Center and the festival grounds. There will be plenty of family fun to be had and things to explore both on the festival grounds and in the museum.  This includes: pony rides, petting zoo, trackless train rides, live stage shows, inflatable bouncy houses, game tent with prizes every time, face painting, balloon artists, professional clowns, and a food booth by the Futon Kiwanis Club with all proceeds going to the Discovery Center.

Entertainment on the Showcase Stage, outside under the big tent, includes:
10 a.m. – Festival Opening Ceremony with the National Anthem,

    WOW Wednesday

Miss Jean is also here every WOW Wednesday, with her chess, juggling and logic puzzles. Miss Jean teaches beginning chess to all, from preschoolers through adult, or she will play a strategic game with an opponent to match their skill level. Additionally, she loves to juggle and can teach anyone of any age to become a successful juggler. Also, she has on hand three large cases of logic puzzles, construction materials, and hands on brain teasers to fascinate any age.  She can teach anyone; all ages and abilities are welcome.

    Funtime Friday
Friday, June 14, at 10 a.m. is Funtime Friday, sponsored by Clinton Kiwanis Club and Alliant Energy Foundation. Sink your teeth into this shark themed Funtime Friday. Come sing along with Baby Shark Billy to the popular kid’s song “Baby Shark.” As always there will be a snack to go along with the theme.
