CCC Welcomes new Dean of Instruction - Dr. Lisa Hayward
Clinton Community College is pleased to announce the addition of Dr. Lisa Hayward as Dean of Instruction. Dr. Hayward moved to Clinton from New Hampshire where she served as Academic Dean and Dean of Distance Education at Colby-Sawyer College. Prior to that position, she was Associate Vice President Academic Affairs for River Valley Community College in New Hampshire.
Dr. Hayward earned a Ph.D. Leadership in Higher Education from Capella University. Her prior education includes a Bachelor’s of Science in Education and English from Northern Vermont State College. She also attended Dartmouth College earning a Master of Arts in Liberal Studies. Her fields of interest include assessment and distance education.
In her position at Clinton Community College, Dr. Hayward serves as the chief academic officer for the college. She is responsible for all college functions related to instruction including working with faculty, developing curriculum, and program development and assessment of career and technical programs, transfer programs, and concurrent enrollment offerings.
CCC President Dr. Karen Vickers commented about the addition of Dr. Hayward, “We are so happy to have Lisa at CCC. She brings great experiences with her and will be a strong addition to our college. She has jumped in quickly and is working hard to get to know CCC and those we serve.”
