The Shop Where I Live platform is an e-commerce marketplace & lead generation platform that helps small businesses to easily sell online together. The goal is to showcase Chambers’ businesses to our communities and beyond. This is a partnership designed to help local small businesses sell online via a national platform and still have local community support.
Camanche Student Drive for United Way of Clinton County, IowaDecember 28, 2020Clinton, Iowa (December 28, 2020) – Brooke Paasch, 10th grade student at Camanche High School, held a drive for food/hygiene products, clothing, and cash donations from mid-October through November to aid disadvantaged Clinton County residents. Several bags of donated clothing, boxes of hygiene/food items, and approximately $59 were delivered to United Way of Clinton County, Iowa (UWCCI) in December. UWCCI will channel these donated items through local agencies such as The Associate Benevolent Society and Information, Referral, & Assistance Service.
Cheryl McCulloh, UWCCI Executive Director, comments, “It’s remarkable when a student contacts us about their community project, and we are very grateful for her thoughtfulness and desire to help those in need in our communities. It’s been a difficult year for everyone and every little bit helps.”
