Opening on March 8 and continuing through April 23 will be an exhibit by fourth generation Clinton native Sarah Bassler Brisch.
A reception will be held on Sunday, March 26, from 1:30 to 4:00 PM and is open to the public.
This exhibit displays a variety of original oil paintings, including her recently designed sculptured oils on dimensional canvases. Brisch attended St. Mary's College at Notre Dame University where she earned her Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and became a registered nurse. It was during college that she realized her artistic talents and became a self-made entrepreneur by creating and selling original personalized greeting cards to help pay her college expenses. .After college, marriage, and five children, her latent artistic talents re-emerged once again as she set forth to become a self-taught artist. While her main medium is oil, she also uses watercolor and acrylic.
She has exhibited her paintings at numerous places including
hospitals, stores, and restaurants in Clinton and the Quad-Cities.Date and Time
