"Balloons in June Nightglow"
June 19th, 2008 at 5:30 p.m. Be a part of the magic as Balloons in June lights up 5th
Avenue. "Nightglow" will be a sight to behold for all
ages as the flames light up the giant hot air balloons and the night
sky. Plenty of kids’ activities including clowns, 50/50 raffles
and chalk painting. Spend the evening in historic Downtown Clinton with
this exciting kickoff to the Balloons in June weekend festivities. For

Autos on the Avenue
August 2nd, 2008, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. This annual car show is held on the Mississippi
River in Downtown Clinton from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Trophies are
awarded in over 30 classes. The public is invited to view the parade of
vehicles located on 1st Street and 5th Avenue South. Food vendors are
available during the day. You can also enjoy shopping in specialty
and antique shops, and be sure and take in the spectacular view along

Downtown Holiday Open House
November 23rd, 2008, Noon - 4 p.m. Come “Home for the Holidays” in
Downtown Clinton and enjoy shopping in antique and specialty shops,
dining in unique restaurants, and visits with Santa Claus. Get
into the Christmas spirit in beautiful Downtown Clinton on the
