Ribbon Cutting & Award Ceremonies
Ribbon cutting ceremonies are provided by the
Chamber Ambassadors for new, expanded or relocated businesses.
Ceremonies are scheduled at least two weeks in advance. Photos of your
event will be posted on this website and published in The Clinton
Herald.
Ambassadors
This fun group meets for ribbon cuttings and to
celebrate all the good things happening in the Clinton/Camanche/Fulton
region. To apply, you must have been an active member of a
committee for at least one year. Contact Karen at 242-5702 or chamber@clintonia.com to
request an application.
Biz After 5
Meet and unwind at the end of the day with other
business people. These social events occur once a month. They are
a great way to show off your organization and facility. Contact chamber@clintonia.com to schedule a Biz After 5 in 2007.
Member-2-Member Savings
The Member-to-Member Savings program provides
Chamber members an opportunity to market their business and provide
valuable discounts to fellow members. Discount offers must be exclusive
to members of the Clinton Area Chamber of Commerce . Thousands of
employees of chamber members have used the program to shop with other
chamber members.
It’s in the Bag!
Supply samples, promotional items, coupons and
brochures are always welcomed for use to give attendees at conventions
and tourist events in the Clinton region.

Chamber committees provide an opportunity to
expand business contacts and play an important part in keeping Clinton
a great place to live and do business.

Within the Governmental/Community Affairs
Division, there have been three committees established to advocate
legislation and government action that will lead to a more friendly
business environment. This division is also working to better connect
Clinton to the world with enhanced infrastructure improvements
primarily in the way of ground transportation.

Within the Membership Division, committees have
been established to ensure the Chamber is offering the best membership
services whether its through informing, networking or promoting. Each
individual member has needs for their business and the Chamber
continues to plan and produce publications, events and programs that
will strengthen the organization.

established to fully implement the Downtown Clinton Economic
Enhancement Strategy. The enhancement of Downtown Clinton is a high
priority for the community.

Within this division, six committees have been
established in a continued effort to promote the Clinton area locally,
regionally and nationally. Increasing emphasis on developing additional

Membership Directory/Buyers' Guide
The Chamber Membership Directory/Buyer’s
Guide is published every 18 months. Thousands of copies of this
publication are distributed to people, employers and business prospects
across the region. Display advertising space is available to Chamber
members only.
Clinton Regional Street Map and Guide
We print the office city map of the region.
Thousands of the full-color maps are distributed to members, new
residents, visitors and business prospects. Only Chamber members have
an opportunity to purchase advertising.
Weekly Email
Every week approximately 2,000 people receive an
email update about chamber and CVB activities. Your business can
be mentioned in the email in a variety of ways.
Website Advertising
Enhance your listing on the Chamber’s
website, www.clintonia.com. The new and improved site is the
source for information about the Clinton region community, economic
development, and the Chamber. The site currently receives approx.
100,000 hits per year. There are several ways to enhance your listing
in the Membership Directory section of the site.
Mailing Inserts
Members now have the opportunity to include a
promotional flyer in the Chamber’s monthly membership mailing.
1,500 pieces are to be delivered to the Chamber prior to the mailing
deadline. Insert must be pre-approved by Chamber staff. One
insert will be included in each month’s mailing. The cost is
$150. Member must be in good standing.
See & Be Seen
The Chamber provides a number of opportunities for
members to network, socialize and learn. Look for the Chamber Calendar
of Events section each month in the chamber newsletter for dates and
locations or check the online Calendar of Events.
Annual Meeting
The Chamber's new year begins in June with the
annual meeting. Retiring officers are honored, new leaders
introduced and food and fun is enjoyed by all.
Chamber Night @ the Ballpark
Join fellow members for a pregame party and game
to watch the Clinton Lumberkings! Admission includes a great meal @ the
game.
Biz After 5
Biz After 5 mixers are held every month.
The Chamber Golf Playday
The hottest golf outing around is annually
sponsored by the Chamber in the summer. Plan to enjoy a day of fun and
camaraderie.
